Young Women With Bright Futures

Established in 1994, the YWCA Bright Futures Awards Program provides an opportunity for public recognition of a young woman from each local high school. The honoree is selected by her school administrators based on her unique academic, leadership and volunteer traits. The candidate must be a senor and a well-rounded person who exhibits altruistic qualities of service to her school and community in any or all of the following ways: she possesses leadership qualities, she has achieved academic excellence, she is respected by her peers.
